Nathalie Appéré (b. 8 July 1975, Ploemeur, Brittany) is a French politician and member of the Socialist Party. She has been the députée () to the National Assembly for Ille-et-Vilaine since 20 June 2012 and the mayor of Rennes since 4 April 2014.〔« (Rennes municipales. == Biography ==
Nathalie Appéré moved to Rennes in 1993 after receiving her baccalauréat. She attended the Institut d'études politiques de Rennes and graduated ranked second in the class of 1996.
On 17 June 2012 she was elected as delegate to the National Assembly for the second district of Ille-et-Vilaine during the second round of voting, obtaining 63,45 % against the UMP candidate Bertrand Plouvier.〔(Ministère de l'Intérieur )〕 On 4 April 2014 Appéré became the first female mayor of Rennes,〔« (Municipales à Rennes. Revivez l'installation du nouveau conseil ) », Ouest-France, 14 avril 2014.〕 receiving 55,83% of the vote in the second round of municipal elections. She ran on the EELV-Front de Gauche ticket.〔(france3 )〕
